 WEIRD QUESTION 

Let me ask you something: How do you picture a year?

Like when you think about a year in your head, is there a mental map you use? Here's how I picture it:

I showed my oldest this and she said, "No, that's wrong." Then she drew this:

Kind of interesting, right? I feel like we all go around with this mental map of what a year looks like, and it's surprising to realize that other people see it differently. It's a fun thing to ask people.

So how do you picture a year? Feel free to jot it down, take a picture of it and send it to me (reply to this email).

The dog grows tired of hanging out with the holiday gnomes, but isn't sure how to politely extract himself from the situation.
