Good Causes

mI was researching charities this week, to help the Hurricane Harvey relief effort in Texas, and I thought, "Maybe I should ask readers if they have any charities they can recommend."

So: Do you have any charities you can recommend? (I did the Red Cross. But any other Harvey-related ideas would be great.) 

And let's broaden this even more: Are there any charities in general that you really like? I'm especially drawn to organizations that help kids and families. And, of course, dogs (and animals in general). 

I'll create a list of organizations I like and I'll add suggestions you give me, and then I'll share it in the next newsletter. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

I recently moved my website to a new platform. Same look, same address (www.HedgerHumor.com), but a different set-up "behind the scenes," if you will. 

The problem: I think some people who subscribed to my site are no longer being notified when I post cartoons. I'm working with someone to straighten this out, and I'll have more information in the next newsletter. In the meantime, I apologize if this is happening to you!
