Something fun to start your week

Meet Don and Dee. They are weather reporters, but not the kind you’re used to.

They’re not interested in rain, heat waves, or anything like that. Instead, Don and Dee report on the weather of your life and your mood. And they are here for you whenever you want to summon them.

For example, if you want them to report your LIFE, you can imagine them saying something like:

Or, if you want them to report on your MOOD, it could go something like this:

You see how this goes. Don and Dee are describing what’s currently going on with you, but they’re also saying, “Wait! I see things will be changing soon!”

Use this as a good reminder that everything is constantly shifting. Your circumstances. Your moods. Something you think is bad might actually turn out to be good, and vice versa. Things are always changing, changing, changing.

So don’t hold on too tight to situations or feelings; try your best to relax into the flow of life. There will be ups and downs all over the place. Maybe imagining Don and Dee narrating it will amuse you. At a minimum, it will remind you that, like the weather, life is always changing.

One more quick thing: In response to requests, I’m going to be making a t-shirt and other merchandise that features last week’s cartoon (the little character who is punching the air). I’ll let you know when it’s available in my online store! If there are other characters you’d like to see on t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, etc., let me know.
