This Monday Motivation is all about taking a mini-vacation from your worries. It’s best to do this one when you’re standing up. (I do it when I’m walking the dog.)
What you want to do is visualize yourself stepping into a hot air balloon.
Then imagine your concerns staying at the ground level while you rise up, up and away.
Here’s the view from my “hot air balloon” as I was walking the dog yesterday. Goodbye, worries! Just stay down there on the ground.
Does it feel good to briefly separate from your concerns? It does. But this isn’t only about floating away from your worries; it’s also about elevating yourself to a better way of thinking.
While you’re up in the hot air balloon, imagine that you’re in an atmosphere of gratitude, love, and kindness.
So while you’re hanging out up there, think of one thing you’re grateful for. Or think of someone you could reach out to or help somehow. Remember to be kind to yourself. Think big picture.
Life being life, you can’t stay up in the hot air balloon indefinitely. At some point, you’ll need to return…
But it will feel good to take that brief trip up in the hot air balloon. And hopefully, you’ll return with a new perspective.
If nothing else, even trying to imagine this whole scenario will take your mind off your worries. So at least there’s that!
Let me know what you think, and have a great week ahead!

I just love that! I like the idea that you CAN just leave the worries behind for awhile
This is exactly what I needed today. 😌
