Dear, Hedger Humor. Welcome back. But wait, did you say that you sent your child off to college and then you moved away? That'll help them grow up! (Mommy, Daddy, where are you?)
I'm really glad that I subscribed to your articles.
These days I need a daily dose of humor just to get thro the day. :-}
Yes, we sent her off, then moved to a smaller house where "her room" now has many different uses. Oops! But listen, we'll make it work -- and it does encourage independence, as you noted. Ha!
Ooooh, fair question. I like to eat them with a fork because that way I only take a bite and I don't eat the whole thing. But then I come back to eat more. And more. And before you know it, I've eaten like three of them. This method really bugs my family, by the way.
Oh thank you thank you for the reminders of how to cope. It’ll help make the daily stuff a bit more manageable if I have something to remind me of things that are in my control.
I kinda love the cake pop drama. It’s a good springboard for funny food horror. Reminds me of that old far side comic (I think it was far side) where the panel’s joke was ‘when food goes bad’ and had like ketchup being held up by the potato salad. I guess anamorphic food humor is my jam! :p
It's great to hear from you again ! These ideas look great for my son, he is 22 & has autism & gets easily overwhelmed. He often calls me & I talk through things like this with him, this is great for if he can't reach me straight away. Thanks
You were probably just getting used to the new microwave you installed for your kitchen remodel and you moved? If you move after your daughter goes to college, does she notice she no longer has a bedroom? Nice to hear from you! Congratulations on all the events in your life!
Hi Mike! I so appreciate the shout-out to my microwave. I still miss the old one, which as we know was not really a microwave... it was so much more. My husband was quite sad to leave the kitchen remodel behind. The kitchen was his baby. But it was time to say goodbye. And yes, my daughter also had to say goodbye to a dedicated room. She has a "room" in this new place, however it's a room with many functions. But hey, we shoved a bed in there, OK?
It’s so nice to see you again!!! A new job AND a MOVE??!!! YOU GO GIRL!! I tried making ninja turtle cake pops for my son’s birthday on year. I stayed up all night to finish them and they came out positively demonic. …And they had a snow day and we ended up eating all 27 of them ourselves. I ate all the Michelangelo’s. You are correct about naming them.

Who uses forks for a cakepop?
