Adrienne, you just crack me up! Your little characters are so silly they make me giggle! I love them. 😍

Thanks for the reminder not to take life so seriously. It definitely helps taking it to the extreme to realize how much you can change your mood in a matter of minutes! Have a great day & enjoy that ridiculous California traffic. Ugh!

Several years ago I was carefully walking home from the store on snow and ice. Encountered an old Mountain Man type who was grimly pushing his old bicycle through the snow, gripping a homerolled cigarette in his teeth. I smiled at him and said "Not a very good day for bicycles, is it?" He said "She'll get better. She always does."

Good advice.

Just getting to work and checking my email to ease into Monday and this one made me laugh out loud. Definitely going to have to try that tactic when I get in a bad mood or anxious! AMAZING!!!

My husband still reminds me — whenever we see a driver driving recklessly (they don’t always cut us off) he comments about their grilled cheese emergency! 😂

Oh my gosh, YES!! I still think about that all the time. I'm so happy I'm not alone in that!

I had a vision of jumping out of the car and slapping everyone of those over ebullient characters--and that made me smile. LOL! Happy Monday!

feeling really angry about something and then hearing someone chirp, 'you would look so much prettier if you smiled more!' looked him square in the face and bared my teeth. I wish someone had taken a picture because I actually saw him jump back. note to self: smile more...

Your annoying characters at in the second part of this article reminded me of the character in "Office Space" that always says, "Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays!" I want to slap her! :-) Seriously though, I want to live in your brain when you come up with these things. Fabulous!!

I LOVE this concept! A charmingly goofy way to own one’s emotional state. Sometimes an ignored emotion acts like a child who keeps yelling louder because he’s not being acknowledged

Love this! Made me smile.

You see what you did there right? These arguments forced you to validate yourself, which is what we're all seeking anyway. Your feelings are real, you deserve to have them and you're asserting that - this does coincidentally allow you to process them...

I love to hear that I’m not the only one that wants to hang onto their irritation, damn it! Stop trying to cheer me up! 😂

That's helpful in a funny kind a way.

When i was stuck in horrible traffic on my horrible commute I’d “lean into” it by mentally being my own news reporter. I’d “report” about my exasperating day at work and then the annoying traffic all around me. Crazy, but it helped most of the time!

BWAHA. So, a full-on Glee moment then? I'll take it. Or Jason Statham telling me to not worry in his fabbity-fab accent. Followed by a roundhouse kick to knock out said worry. LOL
