Hello, and happy Monday (or whenever you’re reading this)!
I have a simple breathing exercise for you. This is for times when you’re feeling anxious or worried. It helps me, so I hope it will help you, too.
Here’s what you do: Close your eyes and inhale deeply. As you do this, imagine that you’re inhaling the power to remain open to possibilities. I tried to draw what I’m picturing:
You’re breathing in all those thoughts and powers.
And then, when you exhale, imagine you’re blowing out all the fixed worries you’ve been holding. It might look like this:
Out with the fixed worries, in with the open-minded feeling of possibilities…
As you do this, you will feel a transformation.
Ideally, you will feel yourself relax into the mystery of life.
The bottom line: No one knows what’s going to happen. And in the meantime, it’s not helpful to fret. So breathe in possibilities; breathe out the worries.
Do you think this will help you? Do have any helpful mantras or visualizations that you use with breathing exercises? Feel free to leave a comment!
I hope you have a great week ahead!

I just love these! It’s a great way to start the week, but even more, I adore the characters… they always crack me up.
This is good in any event--including going to sleep. The trick for me is to exhale longer than you inhale to really breathe out the stinking thinking. Happy Monday, all!
