I snort laughed at your rash photo comment. Google photos occasionally sends me random photos it thinks I'd be interested in seeing again, and the same thing happened. Yuk.
Nice to have you back. Such a flurry of activity--offspring off to college and a FULL TIME job. Yikes. I so look forward to the first day of every month. You'll have to decide a new one for the jon. Something like, "Is it Monday already!"
I'm so glad to hear from you! when I hadn't seen the Monday motivation for a while I was sure that somehow this was just another thing that I had accidentally messed up (oh no! did I cancel it? no...that's not it...oh crap! what if I accidentally blocked it while whacking away at those creepy emails from the Nigerian Princes?). not only does my mind take me off the rails but off the bridge, down into the valley, and wandering down by the creek.
your advice about having a mediocre day sent me rooting for a button I used to wear (it was a thing, 50 years ago, in the early 80s) it had a bland looking smiley face (no grin) with the words 'Have a Day'..
congratulations on the new job! always nice to hear from you!
Glad you resurfaced on my iPad, I missed those tips and wisdom shared. Mind you, if my old brain continues to hide my memories, or my routine reading……🤔 You think last child going off to School is hard, another life moment is waiting……Wait until you’re retired, you find yourself staring at this person over the breakfast table wondering how all those years together seemed so easy, while day to day suddenly becomes….different. A whole new ball game.
Thanks for the smiles! Good luck with “all the things.” Try not to dwell on the thought that when your younger daughter is also gone…it’s just you and your husband……..😳😳…..no buffers anymore…just the two of you…looking at each other trying to remember how to have an actual conversation 😳😳. Good times. We really missed our last buffer when she was gone but eventually we remembered how to talk to one another again 😂
I’m so Happy to see this today, you have no idea. I wondered what happened, (thought, did I accidentally unsub?!). Now I’m happy to know you’re happy with the new job. (I missed your fun, inspiring emails😉)
Went to get a routine scan, ended up in an ER bed for 2 hours, so I took your advice to notice the design/beauty in "boring things." Looked at the ceiling tile perforations, the design work on the boxes of gloves, the pattern of the privacy curtains. It helped! Thanks!
Claire, you know I LOVE this!! I mean, I don't love that you were in the ER, but I'm so happy that noticing the little details helped. I still use this strategy all the time.
Hello Adrienne! So happy to hear from you. Big life changes...yes, I completely resonate and wish all the best. Sending good vibes!! Thank you for the updates, made me smile.

It's so startling! But also quite funny.
Happy Mother’s Day!! I hope you have a relaxing day with your family. 💖
Happy Mother's Day, Adrienne. I was happy to use your Mother's Day card with my DIL and we both laughed way too hard. xoxo
